My mom owned a dress shop when I was young and it inspired me to go into the business as I got older. I knew I wanted to do something with fashion but wasn’t sure what and by the time I graduated college I’d been in about a dozen weddings. That’s when it hit me: bridesmaid’s dresses were big business! I opened my store in the Spring of last year and business has actually been great…there are so many young brides in this town looking for somewhere to shop so they don’t have to go all the way to New York or Atlanta it’s been easy to sell them on my store. I had my wallpaper custom made and have all the staff wear all white all the time…I also went to WWW.DIREC4U.com/ so I could air episodes of Say Yes to the Dress and Whose Wedding is it Anyway while the girls are trying on clothes which everyone seems to really like! I love having my own store and I think I’ll keep it up!
